Initial Cure Period (First 7 Days)

• Avoid washing your vehicle for at least 7 days.

• Do not allow water to sit on the surface for prolonged periods.

• Avoid parking under trees to prevent sap and bird droppings.

• Do not apply any waxes, sealants, or other products during this period.

• If necessary, gently remove bird droppings or contaminants with a damp microfiber towel.

 

Routine Washing & Maintenance

• Wash your vehicle every 1-2 weeks to prevent excessive contamination.

• Use a pH-neutral car shampoo to avoid breaking down the coating.

• Always use the two-bucket wash method with a grit guard to minimize scratches.

• Use high-quality microfiber wash mitts and drying towels.

• Dry the vehicle using a blower or a clean microfiber towel to prevent water spots.

 

What to Avoid

• Automatic car washes (especially brush-type) as they can cause scratches.

• Harsh chemicals such as degreasers, acidic or alkaline cleaners.

• Waxes or sealants, as they are unnecessary and may interfere with the coating.

• Abrasive sponges or towels, as they can cause micro-marring.

 

Decontamination & Maintenance Boost

• Every 3-6 months, use a silica-based spray to refresh the hydrophobic properties.

• If contaminants build up, use an iron remover or clay bar treatment (only if necessary).

• For professional maintenance, consider a coating inspection and top-up application annually.

 

Water Spot Prevention

• Dry your vehicle immediately after washing to prevent water spots.

• If water spots appear, use a dedicated water spot remover designed for ceramic coatings.
