FIRST 3–5 DAYS

Your window film is installed using a mounting solution that requires time to fully evaporate while the adhesive cures.

During this period:

• Do NOT roll down any tinted windows.

• Avoid cleaning the inside surface of the glass.

• Do not place suction cups, decals, or accessories on the tinted glass.

• Avoid unnecessary contact with the film.

• Small water pockets, haze, or a slightly cloudy appearance are completely normal and will disappear as the film fully cures.

FIRST 30 DAYS

Depending on weather conditions, humidity, and temperature, complete curing may take up to 30 days.

During this period:

• Avoid harsh cleaning chemicals.

• Do not scrape or scratch the film.

• Do not use abrasive towels, paper towels, or scrub pads.

• Contact Luxury Autowerks immediately if you notice unusual peeling, lifting, contamination, or excessive bubbling.

CLEANING YOUR WINDOW TINT

Once the film has fully cured, regular cleaning will help maintain its appearance.

For best results:

• Use an ammonia-free automotive glass cleaner.

• Clean using a soft microfiber towel.

• Wipe gently without excessive pressure.

• Clean both the interior and exterior glass regularly.

Never use razor blades, metal scrapers, or abrasive cleaning tools on tinted glass.

PRODUCTS TO USE

Recommended cleaning products include:

• Ammonia-free automotive glass cleaners.

• Distilled water with a clean microfiber towel.

• Tint-safe glass cleaning products.

Using the proper cleaning products will help preserve the clarity and longevity of your window film.

 

PRODUCTS TO AVOID

Never use the following on tinted windows:

• Ammonia-based glass cleaners.

• Abrasive cleaners.

• Razor blades or metal scrapers.

• Steel wool.

• Magic Erasers.

• Solvents or petroleum-based cleaners.

• Rough paper towels or abrasive cloths.

These products may scratch, discolor, or permanently damage the window film.

DEFROSTERS & ANTENNAS

Your rear window film is installed over factory defroster lines and integrated antennas.

Please note:

• Use the rear defroster normally after the curing period.

• Never scrape the inside of the rear window.

• Avoid placing adhesive-mounted accessories over defroster lines.

Damage caused by scraping or removing accessories from the inside of the glass is not covered under warranty.

WINDOW OPERATION

After the initial curing period:

• Operate your windows normally.

• If you notice any unusual edge movement or lifting, discontinue use and contact Luxury Autowerks immediately.

Properly installed window film should not interfere with normal window operation.

WHAT IS NORMAL?

During the curing process you may notice:

• Small water bubbles.

• Slight haze.

• Cloudiness.

• Minor distortion.

These conditions are completely normal and will gradually disappear as the mounting solution evaporates.

Do not attempt to press, puncture, or remove bubbles yourself.

WARRANTY INFORMATION

Your window tint is backed by the manufacturer's limited lifetime warranty against peeling, bubbling, cracking, delamination, and discoloration under normal use, along with Luxury Autowerks' workmanship warranty as outlined in your service documentation.

Warranty coverage does not include damage resulting from:

• Improper cleaning.

• Abrasive materials.

• Accidents or glass breakage.

• Customer abuse or misuse.

• Damage caused by seat belts, pets, cargo, or sharp objects.

• Damage caused during glass replacement or repair by another party.

PROFESSIONAL INSPECTION

If you notice bubbling, peeling, excessive contamination, lifting, discoloration, or any concerns with your window film, please contact Luxury Autowerks before attempting any repairs or removal.

Our technicians will inspect the installation and determine the appropriate corrective action if needed.
